Gigs coming up fast from British singer-songwriter Steve Ashley as he celebrates the up-coming release of his last album, ‘One More Thing’ (Market Square; MSMCD205).

The big one is the launch gig in Cheltenham at The Playhouse on Friday September 21st, a week before its official release date.

And then other September dates include 15th, Wychwood Folk Club in the Tiddy Hall, Ashton-Under-Wychwood, Oxon; 20th Lymm Folk club, The Spreadeagle, Lymm Cheshire; 28th, Bacca Pipes, The Ukrainian Club, Keighley West Yorks and 29th Queens Head, Belper, Derbys.

“Dare to question all you see…”, says Steve on the last track of his final album, and true to his word he does exactly that throughout a thought-provoking repertoire addressing Theresa May, Donald Trump, The Windsors, George Clooney, The White Helmets, riot police, ‘terror correspondents’ and war-hungry politicians that not only showcases fine English folk songwritingbut sets contemporary issues within a traditional construct.
